2026 Mayor's Budget - Budget Request Form

As of May 1, 2025, the Province of Ontario expanded Strong Mayor Powers for several municipalities in Ontario, including the Municipality of Brockton. Visit our Strong Mayor Powers webpage to learn more about this authority.

Under the Strong Mayor Powers authority, the Mayor is responsible for preparing and proposing a Mayor's Budget to Council by February 1^stof each year, which Council can amend. Mayor Peabody aims to deliver the 2026 Budget to Council in mid-December 2026.

To facilitate informed budget preparation, Mayor Peabody is asking service groups or organizations who would like to make a budget request from the Municipality, to complete this form by August 29, 2025.
